Tara Woodruff,

LCSW, CAP

Tara Woodruff believes that therapy should provide a safe and supportive space where you can feel understood, gain insight, and create meaningful and lasting change. She is passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges with compassion, curiosity, and hope.

Tara particularly enjoys working with professionals, high achievers, and individuals in demanding or high-pressure careers who may struggle with stress, burnout, perfectionism, or balancing success with personal well-being. She understands the unique pressures faced by those who are accustomed to caring for others, performing at a high level, or carrying significant responsibilities. She also works with individuals who are navigating grief and loss, life transitions, childhood trauma, and substance use concerns.

Her approach is collaborative and individualized, recognizing that every person’s experiences, strengths, and goals are unique. Whether you are seeking healing from the past, coping with a significant loss, strengthening your relationships, or simply wanting to live a more fulfilling life, Tara strives to meet you where you are and support you in moving forward.

Tara works with individuals and couples and provides therapy for teens, adults, and seniors.

Tara Woodruff, LCSW, CAP, has more than 12 years of experience in the mental health field and has worked in inpatient treatment, community mental health, and public health settings. She earned her Master of Social Work from Florida State University and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Music from the University of South Florida. Tara is licensed in Florida, is a Certified Addiction Professional, and is EMDR trained.

Outside of her clinical work, Tara enjoys volunteering and playing music
