Dr. Maureen Condon Kelly
Maureen received her Bachelor’s degree from CW Post LIU Southampton in Psychology, her Masters in Social Work from SUNY Stony Brook and her Ph.D. in Human Services from Walden University. Her Thesis topic was; Alcoholism in the Family and her Doctoral Dissertation topic was; The Impact of Trauma and Addiction
on Relapse and Recovery.
She has worked in the field of mental health since1989 as a Clinician, Executive Director, Clinical Director, Clinical Supervisor, Admissions Rep, and Marketer for both in-patient and out-patient treatment facilities. She has had the opportunity to write programs for adolescents implemented in treatment as well as work in family programs for in-patient facilities. Maureen was a private practitioner in New York from 1992-
2001 where she provided counseling for individuals, families, and women’s groups.
Doctor Condon Kelly was an adjunct faculty member at SCCC-Suffolk County Community College where she taught:
-Intro to Psychology-Treating Chemically Dependent Family Members-Counseling Techniques-Field Practicum-Community Residence.
Dr. Condon Kelly became a SIFI Supervisor where she supervised Masters level interns during their placement for their Social Work degree at SUNY Stony Brook.
She facilitated a trauma group for the Suffolk County Office of Mental Health for several years on a volunteer basis which really showed her the power of healing and possibilities!
During her career as a Director of an outpatient facility for drug and alcohol addiction on Long Island she was called upon to appear on national television as an expert in dealing with families and recovery.
Doctor Condon Kelly’s private practice is now in Juno Beach, where she provides counseling for individuals. groups, and families. She facilitates groups on divorce,
recovery, cancer and goal setting/self-care. Volunteer work in Florida has included completing the Loggerhead Triathlon for GOTR/Club 100 Charities.
